Scheduling. A project must be rigidly controlled to
ensure the completion date is met. We schedule all our projects on the critical path
method. Only when each item of the work is identified can it be controlled. We analyze and
report progress on a monthly basis. Variances are identified and deficiencies are
corrected. The project is kept on schedule.
Estimating and Value Engineering. In all business ventures, the
Operating Budget is the cornerstone of management control, so too with the construction
project. Each component of the work must be accurately identified, evaluated and budgeted.
This is where the experience of the "Can-Do Team" is critical. With the Wade
Organization, you will get the combined expertise of the Project Executive, Project
Manager and Chief Estimator in establishing and tracking the project budget. The entire
team must be ever vigilant to keep the project within budget while the design proceeds.
Fast Tracking and Designing While Building. The client must have a
high degree of confidence in the contractor confident that the contractor will be
able to make substantial progress while remaining flexible to incorporate design changes
as they arise, all the while keeping the project in budgetary control. The ability to pull
off this dynamic process comes only with experience the kind the Wade Organization
has demonstrated to our many clients. Only when the whole team Owner, Architect and
Contractor is confident of the BUDGET and the SCHEDULE can they proceed forward
with the project, knowing the DESIGN is being finalized as the project is BUILT.
It all comes down to On Time, On
Budget, No Surprises!
In-House Capabilities. Wade Construction maintains and on-staff crew
of trained craftsmen in several disciplines. Our corporate philosophy to be like the
traditional MASTER BUILDER, who has the knowledge and skill to perform the work himself,
as opposed to the Construction Broker, so prevalent today, who performs no work himself,
but must rely on others.
We do recognize the practicalities of the current construction
industry environment. We pass on the economies to be realized by subcontracting work to
our customers. We will analyze each area of the work to determine whether it can most cost
effectively be subcontracted or self-performed.
To the end, no determination will be made as to whether we
self-perform or subcontract until we can determine which route offers the best value to
our customer.
Areas of work Wade Construction typical self performs to control the
job progress and insure high levels of quality:
Project Management Clean-up Labor
Estimating Field Engineering
Scheduling Rough Carpentry
Supervision Finish Carpentry
Areas of work Wade Construction has the capabilities to self-perform
should it be: a) more economical, b) sufficient subcontracting manpower be available, or
c) the schedule requirement dictates otherwise:
Lt. Gauge Metal Framing Acoustic Ceiling
Concrete & Concrete Formwork Drywall
Structural Steel Erection Insulation
