Tucker Sutherland - President
Tucker developed his skills in
marketing, writing and managing talented people in over 30 years of media, advertising and
communications experience.
Starting his career as a newspaper advertising director,
he became Senior Vice President of Newspaper Operations at
Harte-Hanks Communications and
later president of his own media company. He has managed more than 100 newspapers,
magazines and other media properties.
He
was
one
of
the
pioneers
of
two-way
interactive
electronics
communications.
In
the
1970's,
he
created
the
"Visit
the
USA"
site
on
the
Viewdata
system
in
London.
A graduate of Texas A&M University, he is
the past president of the Texas Daily Newspaper Association and a member of the American
Society of Newspaper
Editors
and
Online
News
Association.
